Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actor from the United States. After her debut on film in the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack actors. She was also as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for best female leading role. This was due to her role in the role of Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. She started her film career beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of reviews. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. In 1985, following her debut success on screen she starred in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club is regarded as being among the high school cinema's best films. Although the budget for this film was $1 million it has grossed more than $50 millions. While she was doing this her first appearance on television took place on CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show designed for teens and aired from April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other shows in which she has appeared. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, in which Sheedy plays a small cameo. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has been awarded numerous times, including the MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
