Her childhood was a turbulent one. At the age of two the mother of her fled from an abusive relationship. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 into her life, and she took the full control of her. But things did not turn around as planned. Pickler aged 12 was remanded to her parents through the court. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler could not be a parent to her children when they were absent. In the absence of both parents Pickler was too busy to attend school. Instead she started to teach herself how to take care of her family at an earlier stage. Pickler was on the cheerleading teams of both high school and middle school.
